Bob Dylan

Influenced by Blues legend Robert Johnson and American Folk singer Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan became the poster child for the folk/protest movement in the 1960s. He cemented his status as an icon with songs such as 'Mr. Tambourine Man', 'Like A Rolling Stone', 'The Times They Are A-Changin', and 'Hurricane'. He was also a member of one of the original "supergroups", The Travelling Wilburys alongside Roy Orbison, George Harrison, Tom Petty and Jeff Lynne. He was made a member of the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame in 1988. Among his most famous albums are: 'Blonde on Blonde' (1966), 'Highway 61 Revisited' (1965), and 'The Times They Are A-Changin' (1964).

For fans of Bob Dylan we recommend: Woody Guthrie, Joan Baez, The Band, Robert Johnson, Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers.
